This 1977 GMC pickup was built and used by 20th Century Fox on the Fall Guy TV series from Season 2 through to the end of Season 5.
The truck was built by 20th Century shop mechanics to combat the number of trucks being destroyed each week on the show. They moved the engine/trans to the center of the chassis, mounted it in a cradle under the truck, reinforced the chassis and axles for it to survive the show's wild stunts each week.
This truck could be jumped and jumped and jumped with little to no damage and easily repaired to go straight back to work. This icon was driven mostly by veteran Hollywood Stuntman Mickey Gilbert and his boys during the shows run.

It was rescuedfrom the 20thCentury Fox back lot in the early 1990's by a friend who was working there at the time.
The truck has been sitting a long time and needs to be gone through. Some of the panels need paint as they where damaged and changed out during filming of the show.It truly is a one of a kind truck. The engine and trans are clearly visible during the stunts and jumps it performs .
